Overview
Define who can participate before publishing a poll or ballot. Closing controls and anonymous tallies support an orderly review of the results for the selected audience.
The selected audience establishes the members for whom the question is intended. Publishing makes the prepared poll or ballot available to that group, while closing marks the point at which its results can be reviewed. Anonymous totals provide the recorded tally for that review.
What you can do
- Prepare member polls or ballots around the question the organization needs to put to its members.
- Select the eligible member audience before publishing a poll or ballot.
- Close the vote before reviewing anonymous tallies for the selected audience.
Usage examples
- Publish a member poll, close it at the agreed point and review its tally.
- Select the eligible audience before publishing a ballot and review anonymous totals after closing.
